New Stage of Development

I have entered into a new phase that Mommy calls "Big Hysterics." When I do not get what I want, such as time to type on the computer, I throw myself on the ground and kick and scream as if someone cut off my arm. (Sometimes I even hold my arm as if it is broken for dramatic effect.) I can even drop my shoulders down low and stomp off as if I am the most down trodden character in the whole world. Oh, and I have mastered crying on demand. You should see the water works I can let loose when I am mad at Mommy. It is incredibly frustrating for my mommy. As she types this latest dictation, I am in a "time out" in my crib for crying for 5 minutes over not being allowed to plug in the vacuum. I know that we will weather this phase just fine. But I thought I would forewarn you all in case you call and Mommy is a little short with you on the phone.

Ring Bearer Practice

Mom has been having me practice being a ring bearer for Uncle Teddy's wedding.

Nonni's Visit

Nonni flew out to visit me for Easter. I showed her all of the new things I have learned how to do. Since I did not feel well, I was a cuddle kid. I convinced Nonni that little boys need back rubs.

I also tried to wear Nonni's shoes. I had no trouble getting into them, but walking proved to be difficult. It was really nice to see Nonni. She brought me some cool new clothes and some squirt toys for the tub. Thank you Nonni.

New Stuff

Since it is almost Easter, I got to try my first Peep this weekend. Awesome!! It needs to be Easter more often.

I also got this new swing from my grandma and grandpa. Don't let the sour face fool you; I am only mad because Mommy won't hang it in a tree yet. But they spent a lot of time testing it out with me in the house. It was a wonderful weekend with my grandparents.

Time to Read

This weekend I spent a lot of time reading. I read Jesus and the 12 Dudes who Did to my Aunt Faithe. (Thank you Aunst Suz for such a cool book. It has faces that you can touch.)

Then I read about baby animals with Grandma Karen. Bodi got me that book for my birthday. I think they had fun reading with me.

Master of the 4 Wheeler

Well, I have finally learned how to make this thing go, although not very quickly yet. Did I tell you all that I am going to have company very soon? Grandma and Grandpa are coming so Mommy and Daddy can go out on a date? Plus Aunt Faithe is coming with them. And Nonni is coming for Easter. It will be a lot of fun to have people other than my parents to play with. I am excited.

50 Degrees Outside!!!

It is finally getting warm outside and the snow is melting. Mommy and I took a walk today to get a little dose of sunshine. I am in a much better mood (and so is mommy).

I love to play fetch with Mackenzie, but I don't think she thinks it is as much fun. I think she calls it "Keep Away." Either way, I sure have a good time.
