Last night was the first time I got to "sleep" in my big boy bed. Daddy got me a twin bed in IKEA, which Mommy set up beside my crib last week. Well, last night, Mommy made me go to bed at 7:30 for refusing to nap all day. I got out of bed probably 10 times before 8pm. At one point, Daddy had to remind me that it was "not time to push wagons up and down the hall" but time to sleep. They kept hearing the gate at the top of the stairs wiggle and then would tuck me back in. I thought it was an awesome game.
At 8:30, Mommy found me fast asleep in my bed. She was happy they had been successful.
At 10pm, Mommy found my lying on the floor next to my bed. She finally just tucked me into my crib for the night. I guess we will have to try again. I sure do love to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Maybe they could move to my twin bed.
A man never gets any rest at this house. Mommy had me working all morning to rake leaves. This weekend, as evidenced by the plywood behind me, Mommy made Daddy and Grandpa Mike work on the roof while Grandma entertained me. 
I can take off my pajamas. I do not want to take naps anymore and my mommy just does not get how serious I am. I will fight this fatigue even if it takes being freezing cold in just my onesie.
Nonni needed some help from all of us men to split wood for this winter. Daddy wouldn't let me use the axe, so I had to stack the logs on the wood pile. Uncle Seth had to give me a boost so I could reach it up higher. It was fun to help the other guys. (Thank you Aunt Janell for these awesome pictures.)
We went to the county fair. I rode in the wagon and shared french fries with Mommy. I will admit I was scared of the loud rides that spun people over my head and the draft horses. But I did get to try elephant ears and cotton candy. It was the best.
My friend Anthony showed me where there were lambs and bunnies I could pet. I thought the bunny was pretty cool. Anthony is walking like a pro now. Daddy was sure glad to get to see his friend Kevin.
This weekend we went to Ohio for Uncle Seth and Aunt Janelle's wedding reception. I got to play with my cousin Isaiah. He is a big brother now, so he is really good at including me in his games.
This is my new little cousin Naomi. I did not get jealous when Mommy and Daddy held her.
