Photo Session with Mom

Mommy tried to get a cute picture of me today to put on the blog.

First, I decided I needed to eat my dino.

Then I became "Cheesy the Wonder Kid."

Finally she was able to get one semi decent picture of me after taking 73 silly ones. That Mommy sure is persistent.

Halloween Party!

Yesterday was Halloween. We went to a party at the house of one of Dad's work friends. I got to stay up past my bedtime and it was fun. They had a pool table with lots of balls to roll around, which was really cool. Plus, I got to be Skippy Jon Jones again!

This is our whole family dressed up. Mom was an oven, with a "bun" in it. Daddy was a chef.

Costume Inspiration

Since every teenage girl thought I was also a girl yesterday, I thought I would share the inspiration for my costume. (Apparently it is not manly to be a kitty when you are a little boy.) I was dressed as Skippyjon Jones, a Siamese kitty boy who thinks he is a chihuahua. It is my favorite series of books. Skippyjon has all kinds of adventures, fighting bumblebee banditos in Mexico or venturing into a pyramid to see a mummy. You all should read the books. They are the best!!

Trick or Treating

Yesterday it was horridly cold, so the plan was to sit in the warm house and hand out candy in my costume. But that is no fun for a little boy.

So we all bundled up warm (thank goodness for polar fleece costumes) and headed out around our block. It was just too hard to ignore the candy in my bag whenever I was not getting candy from a neighbor.

Needless to say, I got a little wild when we got home. But it was sure fun to see everyone in their costumes. I think I like this Halloween stuff.

Yard Work

A man never gets any rest at this house. Mommy had me working all morning to rake leaves. This weekend, as evidenced by the plywood behind me, Mommy made Daddy and Grandpa Mike work on the roof while Grandma entertained me.

Geez Mom, just let me stop and admire the mums for 1 second before I have to work again.
